British Council of Kali Eskrima Arnis Instructors (BCKEAI)
The dream continues...
It was the dream and aspiration of the late Grandmaster Roland Dantes (left) to establish unity among the many forms of Filipino Martial Arts, not just in the Philippines, but in all countries where these arts are practiced. The dream started to turn to reality with the formation of the Philippine Council of Kali, Eskrima and Arnis Masters in 2005.
British Council of Kali, Eskrima and Arnis Instructors – United We Grow Strong
The British Council was formed in 2006 by Tuhon Pat O’Malley, Punong Guro Peter Lewis, Master Alan Jones and Grandmaster Danny Guba and has enjoyed rapid annual growth ever since. Although Grandmaster Guba has since moved on to pursue his own projects, the British Council has become the largest multi-style Filipino Martial Arts group in Europe and represents most major forms of the FMA available in the UK.
The BCKEAI hosts an annual showcase of the FMA at the Festival of Filipino Martial Arts, where Instructors, Masters and Grandmasters freely give their time to share their chosen arts and to raise money for charitable organisations in the Philippines.
